CODE OF CONDUCT

CLUB

We WILL:

Treat others with respect and dignity, including all officials, spectators, coaches, and players, whether from the club or opposition

Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat

Support each other to create a positive and welcoming club environment

Promote a conducive environment, where skill development, enjoyment and teamwork are promoted

Take ownership in ensuring that we are up to date with all club rules, policies and are aligned with the values of the club

We WILL NOT:

Tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour towards anyone at the club

Act violently towards any player, official, coach, or engage in offensive language towards them

Bully or intimidate team-mates or the opposition

Challenge the decision of the officials or coaches, or interfere with practise or the game at any instance

COACH

We WILL:

Respects the game and everyone involved in it

Encourages fair play and sportsmanship amongst our players

Remember that youth are here to learn and develop, above all else

Always maintains their integrity and discipline and encourage our players to do the same

Acts as a role model to everyone during match days and encourage all to the club values

Develop the priority skills for our players:

  • Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision Making, Self-Organisation
CODE OF CONDUCT

PARENT

  • No consumption of alcohol on any of the ACS premises

We WILL:

Place the emotive / physical well-being and development of our youth first, before the result of the game

Offer constructive comments, instead of criticism and encourage teamwork and sportsmanship amongst the players

Remember that heart and commitment is more important than outcome

Treat the officials and coaches with respect, and remember that their decision is final, and that they are in no position to impact the game

Maintain their discipline, and act as a good role model to all youth

CODE OF CONDUCT

PLAYER

We WILL:

Respect the decision of the officials, team managers and coaches

Treat our team-mates and opposition with respect and dignity

Look out for the welfare of our teammates

Encourages fair play and sportsmanship, both on and off the pitch

Remain disciplined throughout the game and practise, and sets a good example for all players

Opposes any form of cheating carried out by the opposition or teammates

Remember that team-mates’ effort and development is more important than the result of the game
